Handbell Choir
Our newest and most exciting group at CSUMC is the Handbell Choir. The new two octave set of bells were purchased in May 2007 and practice began in June. Our first practice was opened with prayer with 12 ringers attending.
With the help of Alex Kluttz and Ryan Hammill directing, we set out to learn our first song. With God's leading, Holy, Holy, Holy was completely learned at our first practice. The first performance for the glory of God through music was at our 146th Annual Homecoming Service on August 26th where the bells were dedicated. If you have never heard hand bells, you are really in for a blessing. Please come and join us if you are interested in ringing.
Our goals for the future are to add other octave in 2008 and expand our choir to make a more joyful noise unto the Lord
