Our youth are once again sponsoring an Angel Tree. The names come from a local school. These are children in need in our community. The school counselor and social workers screen the applicants to determine families in need.
On the Angel Tree you will find “angels.” These contain a number that lets the coordinator know who it goes to. Also the age and gender of each child of the families. Included is a list of needs and the child’s wish list.
We are asking that you prayerfully consider taking the name of a boy or girl from the tree and purchasing items from the lists. Each person is asked to do what you can do.
Last year 87 children received gifts from members of Cold Springs UMC. This year the number is greater, but we trust that God will supply this need through the generosity of the members of Cold Springs church family.
Would you allow God to let you be a messenger of His love and joy this Christmas by sharing with these children?
Wrapped gifts should be returned with the angel to the church by Sunday, December 16. Anyone who would like to make a contribution of any size can make it out to “Cold Springs UM Youth” and put in Donna Cook’s box by Dec.16.
